Quad9 currently does not resolve uber.space Monday 13th April 2026 16:04:00

Public DNS resolver "Quad9" currently does not resolve our user-content domain "uber.space" and gives as a reason that "ThreatSTOP" lists this domain as "Active Threat". We have contact both Quad9 and ThreatSTOP to resolve that matter.

We don't host any content under the domain uber.space which could possibly qualify as an active threat; instead only a plain static site telling people our abuse address exists there.

We assume the listing is not about uber.space itself, but about a fraudulent subdomain in the form [username].uber.space; however we have received zero abuse reports. The details listed on "ThreatSTOP" only indicate the main domain, not a specific subdomain that we could analyze. We have explicitly listed uber.space on the "Public Suffix List" (PSL) to indicate "TLD-style use" for this domain.

We can confirm that Quad9 lists uber.space as "Not blocked" and that DNS queries for uber.space to 9.9.9.9 resolve again.

We can confirm that ThreatSTOP lists uber.space as "not a threat" now. Waiting for Quad9 to update their filter systems based on this.

We received a reply from ThreatSTOP indicating that they reviewed uber.space and confirmed it is valid traffic; they have allowlisted it and asked to allow a short propagation window. We will keep this status message open until we can confirm Quad9 resolves our domain uber.space correctly again.
